A brand new product will be launching October 26th in Waitrose and soon after with Ocado that will reduce the angst and hassle of tampon disposal. FabLittleBag® is a new product, invented by a London woman, that will offer women an easy to use, discreet and confident way of disposing of their tampons. FabLittleBag® offers a secure and clean option and can be used anywhere. The bags are uniquely opened with one hand and have a seal that ensures that a bag can be confidently contained and carried if not possible to bin right away. Tampon users are either flusher or binners. The flushing camp flush away, some of them not realising that along with many other items, their tampons are just clogging Britain's drains. Water companies across England and Wales spent over £70million in 2013 to clear more than 300,000 blockages.* The binners have to either wrap tampons up in toilet roll or use a nappy sack; both need two hands and are hardly discreet! Severn Trent Water, Anglian Water and Welsh Water are leading the way using FabLittleBag® in their customer education campaigns over the coming months. FabLittleBag® will be available in handy Bathroom Packs (20 bags) and Handbag Packs (5 bags) retailing for £2.99 and £1.99 respectively from Waitrose and Ocado and available online through specialist sanitary product distributors Sanitary Owl and later this year, Pink Parcel. Chemist chain SafeDale based in the South East are the first independent chemist group to stock them in all of their 20 branches from November. 2. The bags will be manufactured for Loopeeze Ltd in Manchester by Duo UK Ltd. They are made from 35%organic material and are oxo-bio-degradable. Founder and Director of Loopeeze Ltd, Martha Silcott, said "We are really excited that our fantastic FabLittleBag® will soon be available to women and girls everywhere. Finally a product that offers a discreet and easy and secure way of managing tampon disposal - no angst, no hassle no embarrassment, just confident disposal."
