Perfect Imperfection

Clearly no-one is perfect, yet we seem to strive for perfection whist knowing in our heart of hearts that is doesn't exist. Being a perfectionist is often held up as a good thing, but is it? Entrepreneurs and new business owners in particular can be held back by the search for perfection; how many of you out there have delayed the launch of the website because you want it to be "perfect"? Not launched a guide, posted a blog or a video etc because it needs 'just one more tweak'? I have definitely been guilty!
Fact is that taking action and getting out there is far more important and affirming than getting clogged in the search for perceived perfectionism. So I encourage you to press 'Go/Send' and see what happens, inevitably you will need to tweak, alter, add to at some point anyway so may as well keep moving forward. Also, thankfully, we all have different views and opinions and your perfect is someone else's imperfect and vice versa, so if we all acknowledge that it is perfectly okay to be imperfect, we may progress faster and with a lighter heart?
"Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it." Salvador Dali
"Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect -and I don't live to be- but before you start pointing fingers... make sure you hands are clean!" - Bob Marley
"Perfection is a trifle dull." ~ W. Somerset Maugham
