Our Mission

To educate and convert the Flushers to become Binners; we want to protect rivers, oceans and beaches from the pollution caused by the 2.5m tampons and 1.4m pads flushed down the toilet every day in the Uk alone.

To empower women and girls to feel relaxed, comfortable and in control when they are ‘doing the right thing’ and disposing of tampons and pads in the bin.

Our Story

Born from a dinner party experience, where Martha found herself in a toilet at a friend's house changing her tampon, doing the ‘loo roll wrap’ to then discover there was no bin. Not wanting to flush it down the loo, she did what most women do in this situation; wrapped her tampon in copious amounts of toilet roll and ‘sleeve smuggled’ it out of the toilet and into her handbag.

Feeling uncomfortable, awkward and a bit embarrassed, surely there was a better solution? There wasn’t and FabLittleBag was born.

Martha designed the bags to be easy to use with one hand, especially helpful when holding a used tampon, chatting to younger girls it was important that they are opaque for discretion, and from a hygiene and confidence perspective they had to seal closed. These three benefits transform period disposal for awkward to awesome, from feeling uncomfortable to feeling confident.

Our Partners

We work with partners across sports, leisure, government, education and private business.

We started the Period Supportive Movement after a realisation that we can solve a key reason why teenage girls leave sports in their droves (64% leave before the age of 17yrs old).

Our unique Coach’s Bags ensure that girls and women can always manage their periods whilst playing sports. We have a plethora of National Sporting Bodies and Counties across all sports now members of the Period Supportive Movement.

This then grew into providing the Kitemark across all sectors: Universities, Corporates, Stadiums etc : If free access to period products and FabLittleBags for responsible disposal are provided you earn the Period Supportive Kitemark.
